I was raised on Long Island, NY and was educated as an Accountant, but
photography has always been a passion of mine.  I would constantly take pictures of
everything with my “point and shoot” digital camera.  Almost every spare weekend I
had involved shooting pictures at different locations.

After a couple years of observing photos being taken, the idea that photography
could be another way to make a living began to seep into my consciousness, so I
decided to direct more of my time and efforts toward photography.

Since then, work and fun have become synonymous for me.

I'm interested in living life creatively! I desire to create art, establish my life in an
artistic manner and hang-out with other creatives.  I want to explore the creative
process and the magic that lies behind it.  Establishing art as my best friend.

Continuing guidance from God, family, friends, and colleagues help me fine tune my
efforts.

What makes me create art?

To be honest, I don't consider myself to be an artist, at least not yet.  Especially when there are some really talented people out
there.

I don't really know why I create art, but it is a form of therapy for me; alleviating tensions and helping me to keep my sanity.

I love to express myself.  It exposes me and authenticates me.  Photography is an excellent form of communication.  Images are
extremely powerful.

It is very satisfying to create something, even if that something is not that good.  The feeling of it is beyond mere pleasure.

I look and see nothing and everything all at once and I want to capture it.  What I do comes from my soul.

I believe we are created in the likeness of “our” creator.  So being like “Him” we too have the capacity and drive to make beautiful
things.

It’s hard to explain but, sometimes when you lose yourself in art, you gain something back.

But the bottom line, do we really need a reason to create art?
